The long arm of the Bounty Hunter reaches out to those who are “in the wind”, which is why the Bounty Hunters Guild motto is “To Grasp the Wind”. Acting as the extended authority of lawman and warlord alike, crossing paths with this Guild is not recommended. Whether they come across as “Alliance” or “As a Lion”, the Guild is deeply embedded in the shadowy corridors and airlocks of the ‘Verse. Formal membership is accomplished only through sponsorship from a current Guild Member and of course, a hefty bribe.
The history of this trade again goes far back in time to “Earth-That-Was’ where a bounty hunter could earn a good trade while seeking their prey. In the ‘Verse, this guild is one of the least regulated, along with the Smugglers Guild, due to the boundary crossing nature of their work. While there are some organized groups within the Guild, most prefer to be the lone wolf stealthily hunting, and morals can become a mite flexible along the way.

Symbolism: This emblem is both futuristic and ancient. The sharply angular design contains all of the Old Earth alchemical designs for Air, Fire, Water, and Earth, with the meaning within the Guild that no element can hide who they seek. Contained in each half is a stylized arrowhead, one of the most primal symbols of the hunt, passed down through human society for tens of thousands of years. The purple background recalls the royal kings and queens who were the original Patrons of the Bounty Hunter, and the timeless shine of silver represents the coins and treasures offered in payment for their service.
